The Commissioner of Yei River County in Central Equatoria State has announced some major projects for 2013 and extended his New Year’s wishes to all citizens in the Republic of South Sudan.
Juma David Augustine said in his New Year message recorded by Easter Radio that 2013 should be a year of transformation, crowned with economic prosperity especially on agriculture, education and service delivery.Commissioner Juma said the county authorities went to embark on major projects including the construction of Yei-Lasu road, Kinji Secondary School and Yei Civil hospital on the onset of 2013.
The Commissioner appealed to the entire population not to fire guns during the New Year celebrations.
