Nasir fishermen in are getting ready for the new fishing season due to start this week.
Fishing was brought to a standstill following heavy rains and floods in the Upper Nile County, Internews reported.George Thor, coordinator of Nasir Community Development Agency, called on fishermen to assemble their fishing gear at the fishing camps located near the White Nile.
He called upon the youths to promote peace and avoid violence at the fishing camps.
