Western Equatoria Agriculture Minister presented on Monday three key documents requested by the State Legislative Assembly for the MPs to approve a law to regulate forest products.
On September 14, the House rejected Minister West Yugulle’s report on management processes and prices estimates for forest products because three important attachments were missing, Anisa FM reported.Mr Yugulle presented the rates on timber, poles and logs issued by the State Revenue Authorities, the regulations of forest products sale and a ban on teak logging in the state issued by the Council of Ministers.
Assembly Information official Modir Martin Ngarowu said the House was not responsible for the delay regulating forest products, but the agriculture ministry due to what he called some reasonable circumstances.
