A visiting evangelist has called on the people of South Sudan to build their hope in Jesus Christ.
Franklin Graham is in Juba for a two-day festival organized by the Sudan Council of Churches titled Hope for a New Nation, Bakhita Radio reported.Dr Graham told the crowd on Friday’s session that God answered the prayers of South Sudanese people during the war.
He thanked Go for the new nation of South Sudan.
Dr Graham told people not to worry about too many things but place they hope in Jesus Christ.
He said God loves everyone who hopes in him.
About 5,000 people attended the first day of the festival John Garang Memorial Park.
The occasion was graced by Vice President Riak Machar Teny and other Government and Church dignitaries.
