Spectators said the Mundari wrestlers have won Saturday’s match against Bor Dinka in Juba.
Thousands of supporters packed Juba Football Stadium stands punctuating with a big roar each time a wrestler was thrown down.In the end two spectators told CRN that the Mundari wrestlers won although officially the match ended in a three-three draw.
John Penn de Ngong said both sides played well.
For him the Mundari fighters won because they were disciplined and good mannered.
Spectator Sunday Juma Ayiik also declared the Mundari winners of the match and rejected the ruling that the game was a three-three draw.
He said the Mundari player won the first round but the referee did not award the point.
Other spectators at Juba Football Stadium voiced their agreement with the official score.
