Fear of God will lead all the people of South Sudan to move forward developing the new country.
Today, evangelist Franklin Graham started a two-day festival under the theme Hope for a New Nation.Rev Apollo Alfred from the African Inland Church told CRN on Thursday that if people do not fear God they do things that do not please God and their brothers and sisters.
He clarified that South Sudanese need the spirit of nationalism to work wholeheartedly to develop the country.
He said the Word of God empowered people to move ahead.
Rev Alfred invited all the people around Juba to receive the blessings of God through Dr Franklin.
He said Dr Franklin had South Sudan in his heart: he rebuilt many churches, distributed food and now came to preach the Word of God.
Hope for a New Nation festival takes place at Dr John Garang Memorial Park from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
