At least one police officer was killed and two others wounded by a drunk colleague at Jou Market Police Station in Wau on Tuesday night.
The officers were on night duty.One of the injured officers told Voice of Hope at Wau Teaching Hospital on Wednesday that the shooter got into an argument with one of his colleagues after drinking in a bar.
He said the two argued over who was in command during the night shift at the station before the shooting started.
The shooter was arrested and the injured officers are undergoing treatment at Wau Teaching Hospital.
Western Bahr El-Ghazal Police Commissioner declined to comment on the incident.
