The Hope for a New Nation Festival taking place in Juba on Friday and Saturday will extend God’s blessings to all believers across the nation.
American evangelist Franklin Graham will lead the two-day prayer festival at Dr John Garang Memorial Park.The Secretary-General of the festival, Apollo Alfred, told CRN that the organization expects people from Torit, Yei and Lainya to join worshipers from all churches in Juba.
He said God’s blessings will flow from Juba to all the states of South Sudan through Dr Graham.
Rev Alfred explained that the festival includes choirs singing and preaching.
Dr Franklin arrived in Juba Thursday to lead the Hope for a New Nation Festival.
The Festival takes place at John Garang Memorial Park on Friday and Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
The event is expected to gather the biggest choir in South Sudan with 1,000 singers.
The Festival is hosted by the Sudan Council of Churches in partnership with Samaritan’s Pursue and Billy Graham Evangelical Association.
