The President of South Sudan Musicians Union said they want the new country to move positively to engage together with the world in music.
Original Raskorby told CRN that musicians are engaged in different types of music to unify the country through songsHe said the Union is aiming at developing any aspect of music, cultures and heritage of South Sudanese.
Mr Raskorby said the Union is also to ensure that music is not looked at as simple thing.
Mr Raskorby said the Union requires a lot of resources to build their office where musicians express their talents and have their capacity built.
He said the Union also needs resources to buy equipment to buy musical instruments and build recording studio.
He hopes that a budget for the Union is set so that the Union run smoothly.
He said the Union is facing problem in the Ministries of Justice because the Ministry wants it registered as an association.
