Tonj Town Council in Warrap state will be inspecting Tonj Markets next Monday.
DeputyÊ Mayor Valentine Machar Ater told Radio Don Bosco that the Council will check traders wo have legal documents and see HIV/AIDS testing paper.He said it is difficult to control prices because the markets are accommodating both unlicensed and licensed traders.
He said the committee will be walking around checking clinical testing papers for HIV/AIDS and trading licenses to ensure stability and proper order in the markets.
He urged the new traders to get their requirements for trading and health status before inspection is carried out.
The committee will inspect all markets in Tonj town including Malith, Tonj town big market and Wunalel markets.
The council will be meeting at the same day the butchery men to standardize the slaughtering processes and laws.
He urged all the butchers to attend the meeting and bring along their butchery and clinical documents.
Machar Ater also asked the Veterinary personnel to join the meeting.
