One person from Farish, Hieban County has been killed in a cattle raid.
Well placed source told Voice of Peace this morning that the four armed men raided over 80 sheep in Khour-Tombo about 5km north-west of Hieban county just near Khor-Deleb.
The eyewitness said shepherds ambushed the raiders and shot one of them down.
He added that the shot raider later died of his wounds this morning.
The witness said the Farish community believed much more in stealing and that they are encouraged by their elders.
The other three men defeated the shepherds and disappeared with 50 heads of sheep unharmed.
Farish residents criticized strongly the administration and the military leaders for encouraging cattle raiding and accepting bribes from cattle rustlers.
