SCC HEADS TO NAIROBI TO SORT OUT ISSUES

The Sudan Council of Churches, SCC is heading to Nairobi for series of meetings including an emergency general assembly meeting to finally sort out the issue of suspended General-Secretary, Rev. Ramadan Chan.

The Acting General-Secretary, Rev Mark Akec told CRN that on the top of the agenda wiull be a two-day executive committee meetingÊ from September 10 to September 11 followed by the board of trustees meeting.

He added that an emergency general assembly meeting will decide on same management crisis that hit the organization last year and find final solution for the suspended General-Secretary.

Rev Akec said the suspension of Rev Ramadan has financial and management implications and that finding final solution is crucial.

He explained that in Khartoum, SCC gender house was sold out, a house near New Sudan Palace and a big fenced land along Bilpam road in Juba were sold out with similar problems happened in Wau.

Rev Akec added that the committee will present their recommendations on the findings after investigation and the general assembly will decide on Rev Ramadan Chan
