The Catholic Bishop of Yei conveyed his condolences to the people of Lainya County following the sudden death of commissioner Tereka Shadarak.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe said the dead of Commissioner Tereka should not bring disunity in Central Equatoria State but a time to unite, Radio Easter reported.He added that Mr Tereka’s death came from God as all people who believe in the Almighty know.
Bishop Lodu called upon the commissioners in the five counties of Central Equatoria to cooperate and work together as one team with the government of the state.
He also called the people to mourn together with the population of Lainya County as they wait for the burial of Commissioner Tereka.
Bishop Lodu was speaking Sunday afternoon at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
