SPLM-NORTH HOLDS POLITICAL FORUM FOR REGIME CHANGE

The SPLM-North leadership held a political meeting at an undisclosed location in Nuba Mountains with civil authorities and military officers to bring down the Sudanese regime.

The party promised earlier to liberate the marginalized peoples of Sudan.

SPLM-North political Chairman in Heiban County Yunnan Albarout Ajour said the secret talks aimed at uniting the Sudanese people against the ruling party.

He added that the SPLM-North and other parties want to kick the National Congress Part out of the Government.

Mr Albarout said the international community is putting pressure on the both the SPLM-North and NCP to go back to the framework agreement signed in Addis Ababa to start humanitarian aid delivery.

He explained that the NCP wants the Red Crescent to distribute aid in Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile State while the SPLM-North wanted international humanitarian agencies to do the work instead.

Mr Albarout affirmed that despite of looming hunger in the SPLM-North controlled areas, people should continue struggling in order to achieve the objective of war.

He concluded that the meeting was conducted by Secretary General Yasir Arman, Chairman Malik Agar and Military Defence Commander General Abdul-Aziz Adam Al-Hilu.
