A group of mercenaries from the Sudan have occupied a farm in Renk County some 20 kilometres south of the border since the beginning of August.
Army spokesperson Phillip Aguer told the press on Tuesday in Juba that 80 mercenaries, supported by the Sudan Armed Forces, occupied a farm that belongs to a Sudanese.Colonel Aguer said two SPLA soldiers were killed and another two wounded in the ensuing battle.
He explained that the SPLA Division One could deal with the invasion but restrained itself to allow the political power to settle the case.
