Western Equatoria State Governor returned from the USA Thursday after he was invited by the American Government to discuss relevant issues between the two nations with another three top officials from South Sudan.
Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro briefed the press at the airstrip about his journey to USA, Anisa FM reported.He said the US administration welcomed warmly Pagun Amum, Anne Itto, Luka Biong and himself.
The Governor added that they discussed relevant issues and made some agreements with the US Government about loans to South Sudan.
Mr Bokosoro said he invited North-Americans to invest in agriculture in Western Equatoria after some necessary arrangements were made.
He added that investors are willing to put their money in South Sudan but they need some guarantees.
The Governor alerted government officials not to pay attention to insults and accusations voiced by anonymous people to disrupt the government’s work.
Mr Bakosoro blamed internet users for smearing some government officials.
He added that in September he will return to the USA to attend an important conference on leadership.
