The Catholic University of South Sudan conducted in Juba on Friday an orientation day to the new intake of students for the academic year 2012/2013.
Dean of students Richard Miriga alerted that extra curriculum activities including student’s practice of politics and tribal associations could not be carried out in the compound, Bakhita Radio reported.He said each student had to behave according to the rules and regulations of the University.
Mr Miriga added that the University administration does not condone any kind of behaviour that may cause havoc among students.
He advised the new students to behave like intellectuals setting good example to others.
The Catholic University of South Sudan starts the registration of students on Saturday.
Classes kick off on Monday.
About 200 students have enrolled for the introductory year in economic and business administration and education courses in Juba.
This year the Juba campus has about 550 students enrolled in both courses.
