Nuba Mountains civil authorities have sent good wishes to all Muslim in the region to mark the end of Ramadan.
Heiban County Assistant Political Secretary Asaed Juma Idriss saluted all the Muslims, especially those who had courage to fast during the holy month.He congratulated those who fasted in this critical time of hunger because whatever they did maintained their relationship with God.
Mr Juma added that fasting was not only in Islam culture but in other religions as well.
Kumbur Administrator Kuku Bernaba Kuku sent a special message to all the Muslims in the payam.
He appealed for peace and stability in the families and in the entire region, asking Muslim people to pray for peace to come.
Both officers appealed to the international community to speed up and bring food relief to the civilians starving in the Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile.
