TRAINEES EXPRESS OPTIMISM ABOUT FUTURE

The trainees at the Supiri Training Centre have expressed joy and enthusiasm to continue assimilating knowledge from the centre in order to open way for bright future for them.

This morning the state and national ministries of education in conjunction with UKAID and Norwegian Refugees Council (NRC) opened Supiri Training centre in Juba.

Bakhita Radio talked to few students and recorded the following views.

Jeska Aman does tailoring.

She said it was important for her to attend the training in order to sustain herself and family after she completes.

Akot Joice works as security officer in the centre.

She said she asked the centre’s director to allow her receive training on tailoring.

Ms Akot added that she was not feeling secured in her job that is why she looks for more skills in order to establish her own enterprise.

She advised women to aim further than what they have achieved.

The Supiri Training Centre offers training to school dropout, tailoring, carpentry, mechanic, and farming among others.
