Joana Melagy, from Solidarity with South Sudan community in Remenzi, organized the workshop.
The Myanmar nurse said over the phone that herbal medicine was very important for the local community, because plants are remedies that are found easily but many people don’t know how to use them.
Sr. Joana appreciated the information given by herbalist Sakondo to the 27 people who took part in the workshop.
She also showed the participants the herbs she gowns in her garden and how she uses them as medicine.
