GROUP AIMS TO REDUCE YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT

A South Sudan group is aiming at fighting youth unemployment problems in the country.

Tong Group Africa operation manager Phillip Malaak Chol told Bakhita Radio that the organizatoin is an indigenous company that employs only South Sudanese.

He said the group is fighting for the rights of the youth and create jobs for them.

Mr Malaak added that Tong Group Africa is having eight companies that can accommodate a numbers of youths.

He said the group is owned by John Tong Bol, a South Sudanese engineer.

Mr Malaak called on the entire youths in South Sudan to join the group to reduce high rate of unemployment.

Tong Group Africa started in 2005.

Mr Malaak said the group aims to educate and employ the youths for the development of South Sudan.

He added that the employment is done on the basis of qualifications and experience and not on tribal lines.

Mr Malaak said Tong Groups has eight companies with different services rendered to the people of South Sudan.

The company sponsors the Independence Marathon on Saturday in Juba.
