COMBONI AND JUBA MODEL SCORE 100 PERCENT AT SUDAN SCHOOLS LEAVING EXAMS

All students from Comboni and Juba Model secondary schools that sat for the Sudan School Leaving Certificate have passed.

State Education Ministers Margaret Ayite Milyan announced this morning the results, Bakhita Radio reported.

The results show a positive increase of candidates sitting for secondary leaving education by 24.4 percent.

Ms Ayite explained that the increase was due to the influx of returnees from Sudan.

She said the results were encouraging with a passing percentage of 77.3.

Ms Ayite congratulated teachers and students for working out the results of this year’s examinations results.

Comboni and Juba Model performed best among the 35 secondary schools in the state scoring each 100 percent pass.

Private schools beat public schools with a passing score of 94.9 percent compared to 81.5 percent of public schools.

Terekeka County emerged first among the counties of Central Equatoria with an average percentage of 95.9 passes.
