Lightning has struck three people yesterday in Tonj, Warrap State, killing two.
Gabriel Bak Mabior told Don Bosco FM that his maternal uncle Akoch Kuot Wol was killed by a bolt while fishing at the river side.He said his uncle’s body was still at the place where he was struck waiting to be buried.
The lightning struck him at around 4:00 PM.
The bodies were buried today at 4:00 PM following the traditional rules for thunder and lightning victims.
Family members conducted some traditional rituals in the place where their relatives were killed following traditional practices.
