Wounded soldiers in Wau Military Hospital received support from various Western Bahr El Ghazal state institutions last Friday. A special committee has been formed in the state to assist the soldiers admitted in the hospital.

Mr Aleu explained that the committee organized a preliminary visit to check on the patients’ needs and conditions before the visit of the High Committee Chairperson, Angelo Taban, that took place later the same day.
Wau military hospital director Ajak Makor said the facility suffered for a long time with shortage of staff and some medical materials to cater for the needs of patients.
He noted that the hospital has received support from various institutions particularly the military in Juba.
Dr Makor thanked the citizens of Western Bahr El Ghazal and the state Government for their support.
State finance minister Mories Yel Akol, who is part of the committee, said they visited the wounded soldiers to assure them that the government and the citizens of Western Bahr El Ghazal are with them during the critical moment of their recovery.
