The Government has been urged to prioritize education in order to promote good living standards among the communities.

Mayom Abuna Primary School teacher Santino Mathiang Dengdit told Don Bosco FM that the Government has forgotten to promote quality education in the country.

He said teachers are facing difficulties including a proper salary.

Mr Mathiang urged government of South Sudan to consider teachers as key elements in the country since they produce presidents, doctors and pilots.

He urged teachers to be punctual and willing to educate their pupils without expecting much money.
