The new financial forms for the Government of South Sudan are already in Juba and enter into force on July 1 but they did not reach the states except Upper Nile.
The new forms substitute the old ones prepared by the Sudanese Government.Director-General of Taxation in the Ministry of Finance Ayom Mach Jok told CRN on Monday that the state governments did not respond to the ministerial order that all government institutions have to apply for the new financial forms.
He said the Minister has formed a team to distribute the new forms to the states so that they are used instead of the old ones.
Mr Mach called on the business people to use the new forms to pay their taxes and reject the old forms that are not valid anymore.
The Minister of Finance earlier issued a Ministerial order changing the old forms printed in Khartoum bearing the name of the Republic of Sudan with that of the Republic of South Sudan printed in Nairobi, Kenya.
