The national interior minister has warned foreigners against involvement in criminal activities in South Sudan.

Alison Manani Magaya said bad elements among expatriates are involved in criminal activities in Juba and other major cities of South Sudan.

He told the CRN that yesterday two people suspected to be foreigners riding a motorbike shot a person.

Mr Manani said the Government will be very strict with foreigners involved in crimes.

He warned that foreigners have to be very careful because they have not come to South Sudan to steal and kill the natives, but to earn a living.

Mr Manani urged South Sudanese to cooperate with the Police to arrest criminal activities in the country.

He called on the citizens to report suspects to the nearest police station so criminals are arrested.

The Ministry of Interior said he was taking strict measures to curb insecurity and criminal activities in the country by training police and security organs.
