A deacon of Catholic Diocese of Yei has urged parents to encourage children to follow their vocatio.
Pascal Mude Emmanuel Pascal is being ordained to the priesthood tomorrow at Christ the King Cathdral in Yei, breaking a fast of ten years without ordinations for the diocesan clergy, Radio Easter reported.He appealed to Christians to be positive about the call to priesthood.
Deacon Pascal said he feels very happy on the eve of his ordination.
He explained that the vocation to priesthood comes from within oneself.
Deacon Pascal said parents should not object to the vocations chosen by their children but motivate them to go ahead and achieve their goals.
He thanked all those who prayed for him and urged the people to support one another.
