Forty nine students from Yei Vocational Training College have officially graduated today after spending nine months studying various fields of professionalization.

This was the eighth batch of students graduating at the college, Radio Easter reported.

Deputy Principal Morris Logulomo said the 49 students graduated on mechanics, tailoring, carpentry and electricity.

Mr Logulomo added that the training aimed at preparing students to create their own jobs in different areas of specialization.

He disclosed that the training attracted students for all the ten states of South Sudan.

Students’ representative Sebit Morris Lasuba said they benefited from the training and they are ready to apply the learned skills for the development of the country.

ECS Bishop of Yei Hillary Luate Adeba urged the grandaunts to exploit the acquired knowledge to its maximum for the development of this Nation.

He appealed to the students to work hard to reduce overdependence and laziness in the country.

The training was funded by many partners including Institute of Promotion of Civil Society, ACROSS and CMS-Ireland.
