He explained the offer is a two-year pilot project whose continuity would be determined at the end of the project.

Mr Von Khiihn said the European support for Education activities in the new country could continue in the following years if this money is properly used and accounted for.

General education minister Joseph Ukel Abango said the money will be used for the benefit of all in the states and counties.

He added the money will also be used to train teachers and support some schools that are in serious need of financial assistance.

The ministry of general education and the European Union signed a memorandum of understanding for two years, subject to renewal.
