KUMBUR POLICE TELLS TRADERS TO CLEAN DIRTY MARKET

An investigative police in Kumbur Payam of Nuba Mountains has called on traders to clean the market that looks more like a garbage place.

Anur Jalil called on owners of shops, kiosks and restaurants to keep their environs clean to avoid the spread of cholera and receive their clients well.

Mr Jalil urged traders to at least clean the market twice a week.

He advised everyone to clean their shops and the road around their premises.

Mr Jalil asked people to wash mangos for children eat them.

The officer called upon the communities to dig pit latrines and stop deposing waste matter in water lines, or near the market and homes.

Mr Jalil told owners of restaurants to keep cooking materials clean and keep the food well covered to avoid flies.

He added that the days of cleaning are Monday and Thursday.
