WESTERN BAHR EL GHAZAL MINISTRY VOWS TO IMPROVE STAFF CAPACITY

The state ministry of parliamentary affair in Western Bahr El Ghazal is putting up efforts to rave up its staff capacity.

The state government has recently appointed a new director in the ministry aiming to make sure that parliamentary activities become active, Voice of Hope reported.

David John Jongo, the newly appointed Director, appreciated the role played by former staffs especially in training MPs on managerial skills.

He said the ministry will provide cars to its staff and will train members of the Liberation Council at county, payam and boma levels despite of financial challenges.

Commending on the official language used in the parliament, Mr Jongo explained that although most officials speak Arabic, the state parliament uses English as its working language.

He said the ministry counts on a good number of young graduates to do its tasks in English without problems.

The ministry is currently changing minister following the resent reshuffling of the state government.
