The convoy left Wau yesterday to Raja County.

Today he held a meeting with the people of Raja asking for support to the army at the frontlines.

Governor Rizik called on the youth to prepare to defend South Sudan’s territories.

He explained that his was not a call to Jihad, the holy war, for South Sudan does not believe in it.

Governor Rizik added that it was Khartoum who declared war against South Sudan and the SPLA is only defending its territories.

He explained that he visited Raja to understand the situation of the army especially after the recent escalation at the borders.

The convoy brought drugs, food and some specialized doctors including Issac Cleto Hassan, the State Minister for Health.
