The latest round of talks between the governments of South Sudan and Sudan on oil ended yesterday in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, without any deal.

The Khartoum delegation told the Sudanese TV that the latest round of negotiations was the worst of all.

The talks resumed on Saturday evening in Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa with the current oil dispute on the table but the delegations did not overcme the previous stalemate on oil fees and financial aid South Sudan must pay to Sudan.

South Sudan shut down its oil production to press Sudan to water down its financial demands.
