Members of parliament representing Terekeka County have accused the Commissioner of concentrating development in his own area and not respecting the community.

MPs complained that Clement Maring was developing only Central Mundari during a meeting chaired by Central Equatoria State Governor Clement Wani Konga yesterday in Terekeka.

Jackson Abugo Gama, SPLM state secretary and political advisor to the governor, told Bakhita Radio in Terekeka that the MPs accused Commissioner Maring of being unreliable, disrespectful and hot tempered.

The MPs said such a person was not fit to lead the community.

Mr Abugo explained that Terekeka residents frequently complain about the commissioner’s lack of discipline and respect for elders and chiefs.

He added that there were no coordination meetings between the County MPs, the Commissioner and the community of Terekeka in order to resolve local problems.

Mr Abugo added that the Terekeka County Council was too weak.

Earlier on, Governor Konga formed a committee to investigate the allegations filed against commissioner Maring.
