An official from Tonj South County in Warrap State has urged residents to celebrate Christmas peacefully.
Police Deputy Inspector Deng Wol said this Christmas is very special for the Republic of South Sudan since Christ’s birth is also reflecting the birth of the new nation, Radio Don Bosco reported.He asked the residents to celebrate the feast with calm and happiness adding that security should be observed and tightened.
Mr. Wol said youths are the agents of security and they should report to police and security personal all who cause insecurity.
He urged cattle keepers to take proper care of their animals and refrain from rustling activities.
