Eastern Equatoria Governor has issued a decree relieving the commissioners of Budi and Lafon-Lopa counties from their duties.
Charles Atul Gabriel and Caesar Oromo Urbano ceased their activities as commissioners of Budi and of Lafo-Lopa respectively with effect from Monday, Radio Emmanuel reported.Louis Lobong Lojore thanked the former commissioners for the commendable roles and tireless sacrifices they made at the service of the people of Eastern Equatoria in their respective counties.
The governor also relieved the government advisors on administration and economics, Maurice Merisiya Kaunda, and on Gender and Human Rights, Zainab Yassin Hagelsafi.
Mr. Lobong appointed Mr. Merisiya the new Budi County Commissioner.
Former Budi Commissioner Atul was appointed commissioner for Headquarters.
