The National Legislative Assembly today postponed the debate on the re-location of South Sudan’s capital city from Juba to Ramciel, in Lakes State.
The decision was reached after the MPs asked the mover of the motion to carry out some clarifications before starting the debate.The MPs also postponed the third reading of the Code of Conduct of the House due to lack of copies of the document.
Most lawmakers had not carried their documents claiming they had not been informed of the day’s schedule in advance.
The Assembly today passed the Weights and Measures Bill to its fourth reading.
