Five people, four passengers and one driver, were injured in an accident that took place Monday in Marol Akec, Western Bahr el Ghazal.
The driver was seriously injured in the head, neck and back.Speaking to Radio Don Bosco, Mangar Mayen, Corporal of Traffic Police, said the accident occurred due to dust from big trucks which were ahead of the pickup.
He added that the pickup was travelling at a very high speed.
Mr. Mangar cited the poor roads as the cause of many accidents that are happening in Greater Bahr El Ghazal.
He added that drivers do not respect the traffic rules.
The traffic police officer urged drivers to strictly follow the traffic signs and rules and make proper use of the roads.
