The former chief administrator of Abyei criticized the AU High Implementation Panel for Sudan over constant failure to reach a final solution for the Abyei issue.
Thabo Mbeki, former president of South Africa, was charged with the responsibility to referee a peace deal for Abyei between the SPLM and the NCP.Deng Arop told Bakhita Radio this morning that Thabo Mbeki was biased in dealing with Sudan and South Sudan.
He revealed that the last option of the peace deal in Addis Ababa was developed by the NCP and handed to Mbeki in the name of the AU Panel.
He advised the SPLM to review the AU mediation on Abyei.
Mr. Arop also blamed the international community for not telling President Omar al-Bashir that residents does not include nomads.
He said the NCP is tactically and purposely delaying talks to resolve Abyei issue.
