A number of coaches arrived in Yei town from Juba to mentor some young men and women who have expressed interest in the beautiful game.
Yei County Commissioner Elia Waiwai received a delegation from Central Equatoria state to brainstorm on the strategies set to help children in Yei to improve their football skills.Mr. Waiwai appreciated the effort of the state to improve football in his County and told the delegation that children in Yei love football.
He called upon the children in Yei to assimilate knowledge from their trainers and put it into practice.
Mr. Waiwai appealed to the national and state governments to support football activities in Yei.
He admitted that without government support, performance of Yei’s children would be poor.
The coaches will train footballers in Yei for 15 days.
