Unknown gunmen killed two Ugandan transporters along the Camp 15-Chukudum road in Eastern Equatoria state.
Mbaraka Kizangi, who leads the Ugandan community in Eastern Equatoria state, told Radio Emmanuel that two co-nationals, one driver identified as Achako Ayub Arafat, and his turn man named Franco Lubega, were killed on Wednesday.The driver hailed from Soroti district while the turn-man was from Masaka, in Uganda.
Mr. Kizangi said the two Ugandans were executed in cold blood.
The two Ugandan were attacked on their way back from Chukudum to Torit.
A NGO had hired them to transport cassava cuttings to Budi County in Eastern Equatoria state.
The bodies of the two victims were transported to their ancestral homes in Uganda for burial.
