Eastern Equatoria education senior inspectors and county directors are undergoing a five-day training on data management.
Paulino Kenyi Kamb, who facilitates the workshop, told Emmanuel Radio that the officials are leaning about Education Management Information System (EMIS).The training is conducted every year, targeting county officials.
Mr. Kenyi explained that the participants are trained on effective data collection and processing to facilitate an accurate planning and management of the state education system.
Mr. Kamba is an EMIS consultant in the ministry of education in Juba.
EMIS is a system of data collection on pupils’ enrolment, teachers and schools at all levels of administration in South Sudan.
