Traffic Police in Yei River County banned all number plates with NS for both motorbikes and vehicles in the county.
Yei Traffic Police second lieutenant Andrew Kenyi told Radio Easter that the NS and SSC number plates are illegal since July 2008.He revealed that some Yei citizens have registered their vehicles with Ugandan number plates so that they can operate their business freely between the two countries.
Mr. Kenyi added that any person found doing that will face the law.
He appealed to the foreigners who have vehicles running business in the county to register with CE number plates.
