Constant aerial bombardments day and night over Delami County of Nuba Mountains have displaced hundreds of civilians and made their lives hell on earth for the past two weeks.

Osman Anur Sahaid was displaced by the bombardments and took refuge with other people in some caves in the region.

He told a local radio station that planes from Sudan Armed Forces are bombing the area day and night and people are unable to rest.

He added that the residents take refuge in the caves but they are full of bugs due to the rainy season.

Mr. Anur added that houses and property in Delami were reduced to ashes by the Antonovs’ bombs.

He said fear and terror are forcing pregnant women to give birth ahead of time in the caves.

He added that women have to walk long distances to fetch water from where they are hiding.

Many times planes are flying over them.

Mr. Sahaid called upon the international community to intervene and save the lives of suffering innocent civilians.

There are some 7,000 displaced people in Delami without food and shelter.

The displaced are urging NGOs to provide them with the basic needs especially food and medicines.
