Yei River County Commissioner has urged citizens to be united for the development of South Sudan.
Elia Waiwai said citizens and the government have to cooperate for development to take place, Easter Radio reported.He added that development in any payam and boma like feeder roads and bridges is the responsibility of the county authorities with the collaboration of the local community.
Waiwai appealed to South Sudanese to present initiatives to be supported by the government for the development of their areas.
He made these statements yesterday during the official opening of Yembe Bridge constructed with the support of the community and the New Generation Church in Minyori Boma.
