The World Health Organization (WHO) donated medical kits to the ministry of Health.
Speaking to the journalists in the warehouse at Juba International Airport, Doctor Abdi Aden Mohammed head of Liaison office in Juba said the medicines would be used in state hospitals and primary health care clinics.Dr. Aden affirmed his organization’s commitment to work closely with the federal and state ministries of health to improve the health and live of the people across the country.
He ensured his organization’s continues support for the ministry of health in the new Republic of South Sudan.
The undersecretary at the ministry of health Olivia Lomoro, thank WHO for its continues care for the people of south Sudan.
She said the donations include antibiotics, diarrheal kits and cholera kits.
The drugs and medical supplies donated are worth half a million US dollars.
