South Sudan national football team lost its first international match yesterday against a Kenyan team.

South Sudan played Tasker FC from Kenya and lost three-one before a huge crowd that filled the renovated Juba stadium with many more outside.

The home team started well scoring its goal ten minutes into de game.

At break time the score was already one-one.

In the second half, the Kenyans displayed more consistency and scored twice.

The match inaugurated the renovation of Juba stadium.

The stadium received a new pitch, had all its constructions renovated and it has flood lights for night games.
