South Sudan is set to create a Centre for Democracy, Good Governance and Parliamentary Studies at the end of May.
Undersecretary at GoSS Parliamentary Affairs Ministry Julia Aker Duany told SCR News that the centre will be launched with an opening conference.She said the conference will focus on nation building, good democratic governance and policy issues for the new Republic to have a good beginning.
Dr. Aker added that international and national scholars will be invited to contribute to the conference with their knowledge.
She said the different addresses will include youth and employment issues.
Dr. Aker added that the Republic of South Sudan needs to involve the youth to achieve good democratic governance.
