Central Equatoria Police today graduated its first batch of 250 recruits in Juba.

Major General Makur Marual Adwot, Assistant Inspector General for Administration and Training, said the recruits were the last to be gradated before independence.

Mr. Marual announced new Police Stations in Juba, including Jebel Dinka, Gudele, Gumbo, Yei Road, Nyakuron West, Hai Matar, Munuki and Tomping.

The Assistant Inspector General said the new police officers were warned against tribalism explaining that tribes were okay but the problem was tribalism itself.

Mr. Marual explained that a nation divided by tribalism cannot stand.
